You probably already know that Embattled Home, Chad's story, is done and available on all platforms. The links are below if you didn't.
BUT... I bet you didn't know they were also available in print now! Check them out!
I had thought about combining the two stories together, but the books would have been a bit too bulky then. So, I printed them separately. I think they look really nice.
Also, SEAL's Lost Dream, Flynn's story, has been released as a single. Here's the Amazon link.
This week has been so crazy busy. I'm going to be in New Orleans, Louisiana next week for the Romantic Times convention and I'm super excited. I've never been to NOLA. If any of you are in the area, stop in and say HI! You should be able to pm me on Facebook or you can email me to let me know. authorjmmadden@gmail.com
The week after that I will be in Arizona at Arizona Dreamin' with our own Sharon Hamilton. If anybody is in the Chandler area and would like to attend, LET ME KNOW! I HAVE FREE TICKETS!
THEN, the week after I come back from Phoenix I'll be in Cincinnati for the Lori Foster Reader Author event, one of my favorites!
I'm tired just thinking about hitting all these, but so extremely excited too. I love conventions and conferences. If you're able, look me up!
If any of you have been to New Orleans or Phoenix, let me know what I should put at the top of my tourist list!
Now, here are the links to the print books. Happy reading!

SEAL The Deal comes out on Friday 11/29/13
This will be a short post. I'm writing it from the SFO getting ready for a flight to Munich, then Genoa, Italy. We'll be going by ship to Brazil. Going from Winter in Italy to Summer in Rio. I'm going to stand on the deck of the ship and see if I can see the swirl of the water change...See if I can feel the change in the season. Do you think I will?
SEAL The Deal is the full-length novel expanded from the novella I submitted to Uniform Desires, with the lovely Delilah Devlin, Cat Johnson, Elle James, JM Madden and Melissa Schroeder. It is also
the first novel I have written that takes place almost entirely in Sonoma County. One of my critique partners, Kent Sorensen, a professional photographer, gave me the lush and beautiful vineyard pictures we are using in the trailer. youtube: -http://youtu.be/KxsteiBlsQ0 ~~
The Fifth book in the series will be partially written on this cruise. I started my research for a hunky SEAL at the San Francisco Airport tonight. I already know where the bomb will be housed, and how the terrorists get on board. And for those that want to know, Fredo will finally win Mia's heart, although they won't be the primary romance. All the regulars will be there, Kyle and Christy, Armando and Gina, Cooper and Libby, and now Nick and Devon.
And for those of you who like audio, Accidental SEAL is now out on Audible and iTunes. Hope you enjoy my narrator's (JD Hart) Golden Voice like I do.
People often ask how we get our stories. Tonight I got a little inspiration from the SFO Airport Duty Free shop (and I smell like a whorehouse). Hope you can appreciate my enthusiasm.
Hope you'll join me on this next Navy SEAL journey. Here's the blurb:
What starts as a deathbed promise turns out to be a hot
affair neither one expected. Nick becomes Devon’s teacher in her journey to
womanhood. As she comes alive in his arms, the student brings the teacher
something he’s never allowed himself to want, and now knows he needs.

Special Operator Nick Dunn gets the call he has been
dreading since before his last deployment. His sister is in her final stages of
cancer. Nick only vaguely remembers
Devon Brandeburg, his sister’s best friend, but boy has she grown up.
Devon has created a small financial fortune through her
success in real estate. Her career is her main focus, but a closely guarded
secret is her total lack of experience with men.

affair neither one expected. Nick becomes Devon’s teacher in her journey to

Dangerous Attraction and Uniform Desires
Authors who are contributors on this blog are putting together two anthologies for your holiday enjoyment. Both are releasing on or before Veteran's Day, 11-11-13. Both can be preordered today. I doubt you'll be disappointed. We knew readers of this blog especially love a man in uniform. Now that the nights are a bit colder and longer, we might need something to warm us up.
Anthologies by groups of authors are a good way for the reader to experience many different voices, while staying true to the Romantic Suspense genre, military romance in particular. We believe there is no such thing as too many stories. We know you'll feel the same.
Dangerous Attraction is a volume of 10 authors who have banded together to bring you 9 full length novels and a Christmas novella for just .99 (for limited time only). Most of these stories have been previously released. From sweet to scorcher, these stories are a must read. Fall in love with our sexy cops, tough military heroes, and hot CEOs. These are all nationally selling and NYT bestselling authors of Romantic Suspense.
Ignited by award-winning and national bestselling author, Kaylea Cross – Can sexy ex-SEAL Hunter Phillips keep Khalia safe from the terrorists who took her father’s life? (Scorcher)
Secret Guardian by international bestselling author, Jill Sanders – Will ex-special forces hero, Ethan, save Ann in time, only to lose himself to love? (Scorcher)
Deathscape by Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence recipient and Rita Award finalist, Dana Marton – Detective Jack Sullivan will do anything to put Ashley in prison for her crimes…even if he’s falling in love with her. (Sensual)
Legal Ease by award winning and national bestselling author Lori Ryan – Marrying Kelly solved the problems this steamy CEO faced at his company, but will he ever be able to forgive himself for the price she has to pay? (Scorcher)
The Killing Game by international bestselling author, Toni Anderson –Forced to choose between his country and his heart, British SAS Soldier, Ty Dempsey risks it all to save a wildlife biologist caught in the crosshairs of a ruthless killer. (Sensual)
Fallen SEAL Legacy by national bestselling author, Sharon Hamilton – Will Navy SEAL Cooper be able to survive the loss of the woman he loves, or will his self-sacrifice be enough to keep Libby safe? (Scorcher)
Three Days in Seattle by national bestselling author, Debra Burroughs – Trying to stay a step ahead of a lunatic set on revenge, Kate and Ryan are locked in a desperate race to find her missing sister and capture the madman before both women wind up dead. (Sweet)
See Me in Your Dreams by Patricia Rosemoor, Golden Heart Winner and two-time recipient of the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award – Her dreams allow her to see through his missing daughter's eyes, but he thinks she’s a con woman...until she dreams of something known only to him and the girl. (Sensual)
Catching the Bad Guy by national bestselling author, Marie Astor – Top-notch white collar crime investigators Janet Maple and Dennis Walker team up to solve what could be the biggest case of their careers, but will their attraction to each other get in the way? (Sensual)
Bonus Christmas Novella, Christmas Captive by Romantic Times Career Achievement Award Winner and Rita Finalist, Rebecca York – Her special sight let her glimpse the Christmases past of this international financier, but did he have a Christmas future?
Another anthology with 100% military heroes is Uniform Desires. This is a collection of 6 authors who are known for their military romantic suspense, includng 3 NYT bestselling authors, and a USA Today bestselling author.

A SEAL’s nightmare of a promise given at his sister’s deathbed gives him the woman of his dreams
Special Operator Nick Dunn gets the call he has been dreading since before his last deployment. His sister is in her final stages of cancer. He drives up to Sonoma County from Coronado to help her shut down her failing nursery business and tie up her final affairs. He must work with his sister’s best friend he only vaguely remembers from his past. But boy has she grown up.
Devon Brandeburg has created a small financial fortune through her success in real estate. Her career is her main focus, but a closely guarded secret is her total lack of experience with men. After all, who needs them? Especially when their testosterone-stuffed egos suck all the air out of the room, like Nick’s does. Nick’s sister requires two things of the both of them as her dying wish.
What starts as a deathbed promise turns out to be a hot affair neither one expected. Nick becomes Devon’s teacher in her journey to womanhood. As she comes alive in his arms, the student brings the teacher something he’s never allowed himself to want, and now knows he needs.

A weekend liberty leads to unexpected passion between a Marine and his best friend’s sister, but he must survive seven months in Afghanistan to get back to her
Marine Gunnery Sergeant John “Crash” O’Malley has two goals. Enjoy his liberty in New York City, and survive his deployment to Afghanistan. What he didn’t plan on is Trish. A guy can’t have a one-night stand with his best friend’s sister and then abandon her at midnight when his liberty ends, but starting a new relationship days before shipping out would be crazy.
Crash doesn’t realize his friend’s displeasure over him breaking the ‘no sisters rule’ is nothing compared to what the insurgents have in store for them in the Helmand Province. Now, Crash’s new objective is to get home alive and make Trish his.
We're spreading some cheer, and yes, it isn't too early for Christmas! With the crazy and over-filled holidays upon us very soon, time to give thanks, and band together with other author friends to say thank you for a wonderful 2013. These stories are for you!

The story of my life... Under Deadline and Running Behind...
As an Indie author, I do experience a certain amount of freedom. Freedom to choose my subjects, conflicts, covers. When I receive edits, I have the ability to pick and choose what I want to use or not use. I can tackle subjects that I know traditional publishing would probably cringe at and edit it into a politically-correct hell.
But with that freedom also comes a much larger accountability aspect. Now, if I miss a release deadline, it's completely my fault. If I miss listing a blog, like I did this one, again, it's my fault. I am a notorious procrastinator, and it's bitten me in the butt several times.
As an Indie author, we set our own release schedules. It's one of the perks. We don't have to wait for ten different people to do ten different things to my book before it gets put onto the virtual shelves. I am responsible for all jobs, or at least contracting out all the jobs.
The only person I am actually accountable to is the reader.
Literally, every day, I get emails and messages asking me when the next book in my Lost And Found Series will be out. As much as I want to tell them 'next week!' or something equally as ridiculous, I can't, because I've found that disappointing a reader is very difficult. Embattled Minds, my newest release, was supposed to be out at the end of April, BEFORE I left for the RT convention in Kansas City. Unfortunately, I overestimated myself. There was a lot more research I needed to do concerning PTSD, and Vietnam Vets, and it turned into a bigger project than I expected. It just released at the end of June.
The good part was, it ended up being a longer book, which the readers love. They just had to wait a couple of extra months for it.
When will the next series book be out? Not for several months! I released the first three of the series in 8 months, which is a lot. I also had another story from Decadent release in January, Love on the Line II. 4 books in 8 months is doing pretty good, at least for the readers. I'm run a little ragged...
So, tell me. Are you a procrastinator or do you like to schedule things months ahead of time? One commenter will win a free download of Embattled Minds, or any of my backlist!
And, if you haven't done so yet, be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter, or you can email me at authorjmmadden@gmail.com.
Thanks for reading!!!!
